Trust at every step

Safety designed into every booking

Learn how ServiceHubs approaches provider screening, secure platform payments, verified reviews, support, and dispute handling for customers and professionals.

Vetting Protocol

Our 4-Tier Screening Process

Tier 1

Government ID & SSN Verification

Provider identity information is checked during onboarding to help reduce impersonation and fraudulent profiles.

Tier 2

Criminal Background Screening

Comprehensive national, state, and county criminal record checks across all 50 states.

Tier 3

Trade License & Insurance Review

For plumbers, electricians, and mechanics, master licenses and active liability insurance are manually inspected.

Tier 4

Continuous Customer Ratings

Pros must maintain a 4.6+ star average. Providers falling below threshold are immediately suspended for quality review.

Platform Protection Guarantee

The $1,000 ServiceHubs Peace-of-Mind Guarantee

If property damage occurs during a booking or if the delivered service does not match the agreed standard, our executive platform operations will step in with full remediation, re-service, or refund.

Ratings & Reviews

Reviews Are Tied to Real, Paid Jobs

Only a customer who completed and paid for a booking can leave a rating for that specific job — there's no way to post a review without having actually used the pro. Providers who fall below a 4.6-star rolling average are automatically flagged for a quality review.

One review per completed booking, tied to the job ID
Providers can publicly respond to any review
Below 4.6★ average triggers an automatic quality review
Dispute Resolution

How a Dispute Actually Gets Resolved

1. Funds stay in escrow

Opening a dispute freezes the held payment — nothing is released to either side while it's under review.

2. Both sides submit evidence

Photos, messages, and job notes from both the customer and provider are reviewed by our operations team.

3. Remediation or refund

We issue a re-service, partial refund, or full refund based on the evidence — decisions can be appealed once.

Report a Concern

Something Feel Wrong? Tell Us Immediately

Safety reports — about a provider, a customer, or anything that happened during a job — are reviewed on a priority basis, separate from standard billing disputes. This isn't just for completed jobs; report a concern about an in-progress or upcoming booking too.

Report a Concern
Common Questions

Trust & Safety FAQs

Are customer ratings and reviews verified?

Yes. Only customers with a completed, paid booking can leave a review for that job, which keeps ratings tied to real jobs rather than open submissions.

What happens if I disagree with how a dispute was resolved?

You can request a second review from our operations team by replying directly on the dispute case in your account — cases are re-opened for review, not automatically closed after the first decision.

How do I report a provider or customer for a safety concern?

Use the "Report a Concern" option on the job or profile in question, or contact support directly — safety reports are reviewed on a priority basis, separate from standard disputes.
